Alfanar pioneered venture philanthropy in the Arab region in 2004 — patient capital and hands-on support for social enterprises across Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine: 224 funded, £8.8M deployed, 484,000 lives touched.
The brief
One platform, two languages, right-to-left and left-to-right: portfolio management, impact reporting, and donation flows that work as well in Arabic as in English.

The partnership now reaches beyond the main site. We designed and built the platform for the Arab Impact Summit 2026 — Alfanar’s convening of regional leaders and investors in Amman this October. The summit names Unomena among its partners: not just the studio behind the build, but a backer of the gathering itself.
